LG Enlighten Hits Verizon Wireless for $80 on September 22nd

Feel at lost among the sea of high-end smartphones and intimidated by the over-price, then you may have a little interest in this entry-level smartphone just around the corner, LG Enlighten. This belated new smartphone, after numerous leakages of shot and specs, now gets official and will land on Verizon Wireless for $79.99 with a two-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate today and retailing store availability is expected a week later.

Not like its flagship siblings, like LG Optimus 2X or 3D, LG Enlighten only comes with a rig in line with its price tag. Packed with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, LG Enlighten features an 800MHz single-core processor, a 3.2-inch touch screen with resolution of 320*480, android 2.3 Gingerbread. A 3.2MP camera on the back meets basic daily use, no webcam on the front, however. This new phone will ship with a pre-load 2GB microSD inside. Secondary features include Adobe Flash 10 support, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi and 3G connectivities.

Specs for Samsung SHV-E120L 4.7-Inch Smartphone with 720p Revealed

The leakage of high-res smartphones of LG and Motorola, such as the newly-revealed LG LU6200, seems to have made not a small stir in this realm. As a major smartphone vendor which also excels in developing sound hardware, Samsung will allow itself to fall behind to none. Codenamed Samsung SHV-E120L, this new phone is packed with a giant 4.7-inch touchscreen with resolution of 1280*720.

According to the leaked details, SHV-E120L is going to have a 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor, Adreno 220 graphics, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, dual cameras including an 8MP primary sensor and a 2MP front-facing webcam.. Other features consist of GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and also NFC support. Android 2.3.5 will be the OS to drive this high-res smartphone. Samsung SHV-E120L is purported to launch in South Korea first in late September or early October and price for it is still everyone’s guess. Supposedly, we have to wait for some more time before this high-res smartphone will hit other lands.

The successor of Moto’s flagship smartphone, Atrix 4G, has taken its mysterious wrap off with newly leaked shots. But it seems that the Motorola Atrix 2 may have to take “4G” off from its moniker since it will not have LTE capability as its predecessor. This is not the first time we’ve know something about Atrix 2, which turns out to be Motorola Edison, stopping by FCC just last weekend.
